David Ibiyeomie est un télévangéliste nigérian , fondateur et pasteur principal des ministères du salut, à Port Harcourt, au Nigéria.
David Ibiyeomie a fréquenté l’école primaire de Banham à Port-Harcourt , dans l’État de Rivers , au Nigéria, de 1969 à 1974 pour ses études primaires. Il est allé à l’école secondaire gouvernementale , Borikiri , Rivers State, Nigeria. Après cela, il a été admis à la Rivers State University , à Port Harcourt, pour un cursus en microbiologie en 1980.
Après avoir terminé sa formation à l’École biblique à l’Institut biblique de la foi de l’ évêque David Oyedepo (WOFBI), Ibiyeomie a commencé une bourse de recherche avec sa famille sur l’île Victoria , à Lagos ; il a ensuite déménagé à Port Harcourt, dans l’État de Rivers, où il a fondé Salvation Ministries (Glorious Chapel) le 13 avril 1997, avec un peu plus de vingt membres présents.
En juillet 1997, l’église a déménagé sur une plus grande parcelle de terrain. En 2017, les ministères du salut comptaient en moyenne environ 50 000 participants chaque dimanche à son siège. En février 2011, les ministères du Salut ont lancé 14 églises satellites en une journée, chacune exécutant cinq services chacune.
